What Are Velasmooth Treatments And Are They Effective?

by Ellen Jones

Many people suffer from unsightly, dimpled skin known as cellulite. So if you have cellulite, you aren’t the only one. You might think it only has to do with weight, but it can actually affect anyone no matter what body type they have. Regardless of cause, though, you are probably looking for treatment options. Velasmooth treatments might be one option to consider.

Many people haven’t heard of Velasmooth treatments simply because they are fairly new. They were only just approved by the FDA as cellulite treatments in 2005. A company out of Israel called Syneron Medical Ltd. was responsible for creating them.

Can Velasmooth Beat Lipo and Laser Treatments?

The difference between Liposuction and Velasmooth treatments for cellulite is like the difference between night and day. Lipo is a surgical technique, so it involves a lot of time for recovery, as well as pain. Velasmooth, on the other hand, is a massage technique. It loosens up fat cells, using a combination of sound harmonics and infrared light.

As far as comparing Velasmooth treatments to laser treatments, there are major differences there, too. Conventional laser treatments often come along with safety concerns. Velasmooth uses something called elos technology, which is much safer. Elos uses a combination of light and sound to safely circulate the blood better and make the skin’s appearance much better.

Does Velasmooth Require Multiple Treatments?

Every cellulite problem is a little different. It all depends on your individual lifestyle and other factors. So, it’s hard to say exactly how many Velasmooth treatments you might need. Typically, for the first eight weeks or so, you should need about two treatments a week, though. Each one is usually about forty-five minutes long. After that, most people go back for one treatment or so a month. It depends on how your body reacts to treatments, though.

While deep heat cellulite massages have been compared to Velasmooth treatments for cellulite, the two aren’t totally alike. In fact, discomfort has been reported by some people that get the Velasmooth treatments. That’s why it’s so important to find a skilled Velasmooth technician. A skilled person can use the applicator for the Velasmooth treatments expertly, with limited discomfort.

It’s also important to know that Velasmooth treatments are not without a price. They can definitely help you to achieve the desired results, but they can also burn a hole in your wallet. One treatment can cost as much as two hundred dollars or so and, as mentioned above, you’ll need ongoing treatments. So be prepared for the expense involved.

Treating cellulite doesn’t have to cost an arm and a leg. You might think the expense is worth it, but you do have other options. One is a cellulite massage machine for home use. They can be conveniently used anywhere at any time of day and the best part is that they cost much less than even one Velasmooth treatment does. So you might want to consider the economics of cellulite removal, too.
